We are a vibrant contemporary church in South East London with a passion to see people’s whole lives transformed by the power and love of Christ.

Our mission is simple. We draw alongside people, at whatever stage they’re at, and inspire, equip and empower them to take the next step in their journey with Christ. And we keep on doing this in relationship, applying the truth of God’s word and drawing on the power of the Holy Spirit.
 

Justice. Mercy. Humility.

 

Our cornerstone verse, Micah 6:8, defines our three fundamental values as a church:

We act justly. We believe that God has delegated responsibility to us to carry out His justice on earth. That’s why we work in partnership with others in our local community and beyond to help those in need and make our collective voice heard.

We love mercy. Even when it’s difficult. In this we follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, who showed unfailing mercy in going to the cross to atone for our sin.

We walk humbly. We’re not about airs and graces at Micah. We’re informal and laid-back in our style of worship and leadership. We humble ourselves under the Word of the Lord and His Spirit.

Being part of ConnectionsUK, an international inter-denominational, cross-cultural ministry, gives Micah’s leaders access to training, guidance and mentoring. Micah members also get to connect with and learn from a diverse network of churches from different cultural backgrounds - all working towards the same goal of communicating and sharing Christ’s love.
